S&S Records, Inc. (and S&S Chicago, Inc.) was established by 4-time GRAMMY® nominated producer and House Music pioneer Steve "Silk" Hurley and global DJ/Producer Shannon "DJ Skip" Syas. Silk and Skip merged Hurley's worldwide commercial success and Syas' strong global following to form S&S Records. S&S Records has accumulated a catalog of new and classic hit records from global artists all over.
The producer-songwriter also known as Immaculate Styles is no stranger to entertainment. Scoring a Sundance Award-winning film at just twenty & then collaborating with multiple GRAMMY® winners, a few short years later – first as a bass player, then as a producer – this was followed by several acclaimed pursuits in fashion & design. These are just a few of the accomplishments he’s enjoyed, over the last twenty years as a producer, songwriter & artist.
Immaculate Styles’ collaboration with a dear friend, long-time songwriting partner & star in her own right, Lisa Shaw, yielded the song, “I Wanna Let You Know”, which was originally mixed by Mick Guzauski – whose credits include Daft Punk, Pharrell & Jamiroquai. Lisa has already proven to be a staple in the world of House music. Helping define an era with her multiple releases and continues to create timeless classics. Lisa has also been featured on albums with King Britt, QBurns Abstract Message.
When Immaculate Styles approached S&S about a possible collaboration with Steve Silk Hurley, the 4-Time GRAMMY® Nominated Producer & House Music Pioneer from Chicago, “Silk” was excited about the idea and actually had a vision of creating a brand new musical landscape for what was already a catchy tune. His goal was to create an epic orchestration that would be reminiscent of the soulful Disco of the late 70’s but with the punch and energy of House Music. The result of this vision is “I Wanna Let You Know (S&S Remixes)”- Steve Silk Hurley’s S&S Epic Orchestration.
S&S has also included a Bad Boy Bill re-edit of Silk’s version and a new Remix by DJ Skip & Zonum. These remixes are a must-have for all house music enthusiasts.
