Mo’Cream debuts on Piston with the fantastic two track EP titled Faith In Me. Good music has always been his passion, In 1990 he started his journey as a DJ, he used to play in clubs often bringing his faithful AKAI sampler. After a time, the excitement of recording his own music strengthened and so he started to produce House music. His first track, Make My Move, came out in 1993 under his Workin’ Happily guise and, soon after, he started to work together with many top producers such as Murk, Cajmere, Kerri Chandler and Michele Chiavarini among others. He has built up a solid reputation over the years and his tracks are played by top jocks all over the world. Delighted to have him here at Piston.

Faith In Me is a fresh and upfront deep house groover. Solid, chunky beats and shuffling hats create a rhythmic flow that is complimented with groovy chords and cool vocals. A deep, warm bass caresses the track as a sexy sax lays down the riffs, adding character to the sound and delivering a clubby vibe. An infectious mover that will most definitely not disappoint.

Make It intros with a punchy kick and crispy hi hat combo before being joined by an organic bassline that oozes analogue flavour. Diva-esque vocals are woven into the groove beautifully and are joined by warm pads and hi strings. The track takes on a solid, straight-to-the-floor vibe. A superbly constructed effort that will be a welcome addition in any up-beat party.
