Ingwenya is a ZULU language word Translated as a crocodile in English . When I did this album, I was inspired by the Raw sounds of African cultural Music such as Kwaito , Pop, modern House Music and the North African AfroBeat type of Sounds. As we all know the Amapiano Sound is currently dominating In the southernmost regions of the African continent and some parts of Europe, as well as North American Regions. I then thought I should also take part of the Amapiano Movement, make an Impact in keeping the Culture going and Relevant for the next generation to come.
