In the legendary summer of '88, New York house outfit Kraze was smashing the dancefloors with their debut single “The Party”. For years to come, the classic vocal lines “give me a fat beat!”, “somebody scream!” and “ya’ll want this party started, right!?” were sampled on more than one hundred records.

But then what? Was Kraze a classic one hit wonder?

Kind of, yes! But unlike other one hit wonders, their follow up “Let’s Play House” was actually really good. “The Party”, however, was still so huge that it overshadowed the new single which disappeared without making any noise.

For decades, “Let’s Play House” was only available on vinyl, but now we are proud to present three hard-to-get remixes by the legendary DJ collective Swemix. Their “Class of 89”-mixes take the track into quirky 80s techno, obscure 70s disco and German hardbeat territories. Best of all, the remixes prove that “Let’s Play House” is an awesome tune.
