Austin, Texas DJ/Producer Zkosta makes his long awaited return to CC with his new 'Altered State' EP. He takes us through a cinematic landscape of sound on this project putting together three deep but melodic records that compliment each other effortlessly. The title track gets things moving while setting the vibe and mood this EP portrays with its rolling low end, oscillated synth and alternating plucks. 'No More Rainy Days' takes things even deeper using delayed stabs over soothing pads and filtered vocal phrases to set the mood. The EP finishes off with 'A Reason' where Zkosta sticks to the script and lays down soulful keys and vocals with a grooving bass to finish it off with class and style.
