Both hailing from Canada, Ludo Lacoste and John Lebel join forces for a two-track EP on DVINE Sounds, 'What You Got'. From Montreal's underground scene to performing at venues and festivals all over North America, Ludo Lacoste's passion as an electronic artist has culminated in floor-filling releases on Toolroom, Glasgow Underground and SOLOTOKO. Now he collaborates with Toolroom Academy graduate John Lebel, whose multiple releases on the burgeoning Purple Tea Records are a testament to his skill as a producer. The lead, 'What You Got', plays with vocal samples and disco hits over a classic NYC house-inspired groove, while 'So Good' follows suit with a wonkier bass adding underground edge.
