Da Sunlounge - 15 Years

15 years ago while DJing, Simon played a dub plate of one of his first productions. Clive Henry was playing alongside & signed it to his then label, Low Pressings. and so Da Sunlounge was born.Later that year, he followed it up with a second release on Low Pressings, which was played by Danny Rampling to open his Radio 1 show live from Ibiza.Da Sunlounge was then head hunted by Canadian label 83 West to release on their sub-label Camouflage recordings. In a short space of time, he found himself releasing music on labels that were frequented by the likes of H-Foundation, DJ Sneak, Peace Division, Gene Farris, Stacy Kidd & DJ Rasoul.As his career progressed, Da Sunlounge went on to release on numerous labels including, Cajual Recs, 2020 Vision, OutCross Recs, Kingstreet ,OM, Salted Music, Defected, Tango, Amenti Music, Double Down, So Sound, Lost My Dog and Smoke & Mirrors.
His music also found its way onto front cover mounts such as Mixmag, and compilation CDs by Fabric, Defected, Ministry of Sound, NRK and Hed Kandi.
Da Sunlounge support has come from the likes of Radio 1, Pete Tong, Annie Mac, DJ Sneak, MK, Oliver Dollar, Laurent Garnier, Eats Everything, DJ T, Kolombo, Phil Weeks, Crazy P, Simon Dunmore, Sonny Federa, Miguel Campbell, Richy Armed, Jamie Jones, Lee Foss, Mark Farina, Rob Da Bank and Inland Knights.
