Funk, House and Disco were some of the reasons that led Ivan and Andres to decide a few years ago, in their college times to undertake the journey that today is known as Discoholycs. A Project that rescues through danceable and fresh music that Groove and eccentricity from 70’s and 80’s with a modern air.

“Don Genaro Ep” their latest production, is a tribute to their old friend dog called “Genaro” who accompanied them for many years. This Ep features two original tracks: “Don Genaro” a track heavily influenced by the eighties Hip Hop and Funk, accompanied by futuristic synths, and “Que Es Funk?”, a production closer to Deep House mixed with Hip Hop beats and samples. This duo spread their love for the Funk by sampling an intevirew by the godfather of the funk “George Clinton”

By also the mexican jazzy man “4004” and the italian deep funky dúo “Black Loops” participated with three incredible remixes that manage to capture clearly the concept behind “Don Genaro Ep”
