BOOFATHER

Having been involved in electronic music in one form or another since the late 80's/early 90's from the early rave period through to clubs it had been a long aspiration to get involved in production.

A bad injury in the summer of 2014 provided time to learn and six months in bed of focus & 24/7 work allowed Boofather to develop as a producer. His first release Disco Spring Cleaning on Midwest Hustle tells about the light of Spring and pushing the darkness out for a fresh new start, new energy and life. Its disco jackin style aims to provide a new flavour that is funky, fresh and that has a good powerful kick. With further releases upcoming on Wetsuit Recordings and Nombeko Records in Jack and also in Deeper styles Boofather aims to produce tracks that are diverse and full of nuances and good beats.

Boofather's interests musically are in all forms of House especially Jackin House, as well as Deep, Techno, Lounge, Ambient and some Chilled out beats. Boofathers passion for the music of the past and ear for the present allow him to combine old school flavours with contemporary beats as well as experimental flavours. Thus Boofathers focus is on melding new meets old in House, Jacking, Deep,Tech House as well as experiemental flavours in techno, chilled out material & D&B. Open to ideas and suggestions the beats have just started to flow and will be flowing more and more.
