SOUL JACKA

In 2006 it was born right there on the streets playing for Lafayette's own Kabuki Dance Crew with only hand full of Chi-town jacked out house tracks from "Mark Farina, Derrick Carter, Stacy Kidd, JT Donaldson, Bryan Jones (before Golf Clap) Joey Youngman and Roy Davis Jr." These great House pioneers became some of his greatest influences to him. Soul Jacka House flavors contained Jackin House, French Disco, House, Deep House, Soulful House, Classic 90’s Piano House and what he likes to call Vintage House.
Later on his career the producer side of Soul Jacka came out, getting a chance to work with Roy Davis Jr. on a few projects and producing his own House tracks that have appeared on Snazzy Traxx Records, Disco balls Rec., Karmic Power Rec., Recovery House Rec., Yoo’Nek Rec., Soul Shift Rec., and LW Rec. under the name Slap Jack. Now Soul Jacka looks forward to making his mark on the House music scene.
