Originating from Lyon, France and based in Montreal, Canada, Akpossoul's West African roots and influences embark music lovers, listeners, dancers and club goers on a remarkable journey.
Son of a DJ and brother to house music producer Manoo, Akpossoul naturally came with a background deeply rooted in music. Over the last decade, the DJ and producer has established himself in the house music scene with his recognizable deep, soulful, afro sound. He has collaborated and played along notable figures in house music featuring the likes of Djeff, MoBlack, Jojo Flores, Boddhi Satva, Hyenah to name a few.

Having played in his home country of France and in numerous clubs around the globe, you can find him playing for Montreal's most crowded dancefloors on a weekly basis. Resident at Montreals listening Cafe Got Soul on Saturday afternoons, Akpossoul also has events under his own vision, The Journey. The soulful afro house events hosted in Montreal nightclubs feature some of house music's best names and live percussionists. It can also be found on his Soundcloud podcast under the same name.
